Aligarh College of Nursing

Aligarh College of Nursing gives practical experience in the ward to the student nurse to develop positive attitudes, learn manual skills as well as management procedures and skills in consoling and encouraging the sick, the worried and the bereaved.
Aligarh College of Nursing will place its students in its three hospitals and other health care centers so that the student nurse gets adequate practical experience in the nursing field. Aligarh College of Nursing has its own community health centre that will be helpful for the nursing students to obtain the desired practical experience in their chosen field of study.

The college provides a comfortable fleet of buses at regular intervals to commute students, faculty members & staff from campus to all major points in the City.

A complete physical medical examination is must for every new student within seven days after the arrival of student. Candidate should be mentally fit. The Institute reserves the right to discontinue the training of the student, if during the period of training, a student is found to be mentally or physically unfit or if the doctor diagnoses and chronic/acute illness which may interfere with the training of the student.

Though away from home, yet Aligarh College of Nursing, Boarding facilities makes it a home like experience for the students. Aligarh School of Nursing has separate hostel for boys and girls with all necessary amenities. The hostels are well equipped with 24 hours electricity, water supply, necessary furniture, telephone, water coolers, refrigerators, recreational facilities like TV, indoor and outdoor games such as table tennis, gymnasium, chess, carom boards, vollyeball, badminton etc. Wi-Fi internet connectivity in hostel rooms is also available. Each wing is controlled by highly qualified and trained hostel wardens to take care of the needs of the students.
